This past week has been very busy. Our little man turned 2 on Thursday and everyone was invited to come celebrate at our clubhouse on Saturday. My only downfall this week was forgetting to drink my water through all the excitement.
Aiden got tons of toys including some play dough, tent, tunnel, and some handmade gifts from mom and dad. We even got in on the fun with some exercise balls with a twist. The family had fun exercising and racing around the house on our new friends.
We're busy gearing up too for our 5K run in January. We've downloaded an interval training app to help us prepare. I've only had time to get one run in so far. I completed a 16 minute mile with the pacing built into the program. I'm excited to continue my training over the next few months. We're all signed up and the next few weeks will be filled with finishing my Media Kit and looking for sponsors. And because it's the Disneyland 5K the costume planning begins. My SIL and I are deciding if we should do all out princess costumes or just a tutu. We know JD will at least be wearing a tutu.
This post wouldn't be complete without a picture of the birthday boy. Unfortunately we are going through a phase where we refuse to smile in photos. I still think he's pretty cute though.
It's not too late to support us in the Mamavation couple campaign. Go see our video here, then let Leah know you are behind us by shouting out:

ReplyDeleteRunning the Disneyland Neverland 5K in January. Just downloaded the C25K app for my iPod. Haven't tried it yet because I've been suffering from Sciatica the last week. Seriously my legs and feet are numb right now just from sitting and typing this. I am currently sitting on an exercise ball hopping that would help align me.
