This product brings me back to my earlier business days. I was a middle schooler making bracelets with yards of colored thread, tape, and a clipboard. I remember it taking me days to complete one bracelet. The knots would be uneven and I'd lose track of strings.
The My Friendship Bracelet Maker takes the guessing out of bracelet making. It is a convenient clipboard with string guides; no more losing track of your thread. I loved that the clip held the threads securely. I could start a project, walk away, and pick it up days later without missing a step. Each kit comes with a convenient clipboard with thread guides and precut threads. I was able to start my project right out of the box.
There's a lot of versatility too. My next projects are going to be natural cords and leather. Cut the threads longer and you can easily, without frustration, create necklaces and anklets. Slide the adjustable clip all the way down to create adorable toe rings; perfect for sandal weather.
Checkout the MY FBM website for lots of fun ideas and tutorials. You have classic designs like the one above, but my favorite are the fancy holiday themed. Pumpkins for Halloween and stockings for Christmas. They even make a Ribbon Barrette Maker!
My favorite part about this review is I get to celebrate crafting with you and giveaway one Classic FBM to one of my readers. In honor of Thanksgiving I'll be drawing one person sometime between the turkey and the Turkey Trot.
I was provided a Clipboard FBM for my review and giveaway. All opinions are my own.

ReplyDeleteWhen my brother and I were younger we spent a summer making friendship bracelets. We sent all of them to the Children's International fund we always saw commercials for on TV. We received a message back stating they could not accept them but that they sent them to a Church where there children loved them. This bracelet maker could go to my kids and I know they would love it and I could then share our story.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this for my niece. She just turned 11 and that is the age when I was really into friendship bracelets back in the 1980s! LOL I used to make them by hand though...no nifty makers available back then! LOL
