{Mamavation}: 4 Months Later

I can't believe it has been 4 months since ending my time as a Mamavation Mom.  I learned so much during that time regarding eating and activity.  While I've moved past the daily use of my pedometer I still try to walk everyday.  This fell by the wayside during the great time of the sickness but are becoming more frequent as the weather begins to warm up and is quite beautiful.  We've been trying as a family to do something outside every week.  The weather warms up quickly here and I want to squeeze every ounce of Spring that AZ has to offer.

Recently we've gone walking in Sabino Canyon.  A beautiful canyon nestled at the base of the Catalina Mountain Range.  We spent a whole day taking in the 75 acres of aircraft at the Pima Air and Space Museum.  JD and I took a drive up to Mt. Lemmon with Aiden and took a short loop trail.  It was windy that day so we ended our trip early.  We've been spending  a lot of time outside littering the sidewalks with chalk art and sending bubbles throughout the sky.

No weight loss to report from this point forward. I'm past my first trimester and any sickness I was feeling has passed.  Last I reported I was at 181.2, not my lowest.  I got down to 179 at one point.  As soon as the sickies left I steadied at 181/182.  Depends on the day and how I'm feeling.  With my son I gained about 20 pounds.  I'm planning on keeping it under with this one.  I'm more active this time around and definitely eating more healthy.

What did you do to stay active and healthy when pregnant?

  1. Being more active is really the hardest part for me since I love my sofa...but I feel SO MUCH BETTER when I get up and get some activity in my life! Congrats to you on the pregnancy and good job staying active!

  2. I'm so happy to hear that your feeling better! That's my least favorite part of pregnancy. I was a lot more active with my second pregnancy, I gained about 35 lbs. but it was a lot easier to lose the weight after the baby.
