In case you didn't know my son is in love with all things Spiderman. He loves superheroes, but if you walked into our house you could tell which one had top billing. The kid loves both Peter Parker and Spider-man. He is found many days wearing his Spider-man costume with street clothes over the top (a.k.a. his Peter Parker costume).
We missed seeing The Amazing Spider-man in theaters so I was so excited to hear it was coming out on November 9th and Walmart had the opportunity to Pre-Order. We received our copy early to preview, but found you can access a digital copy early too through Vudu.com. Walmart will mail out your Blu-Ray/DVD copy with access to a digital copy on UltraViolet.
Part of the fun was using the Web Slinger app to interact with our DVD/BluRay and Marketside Pizza box; found in the deli area at Walmart. You can grab the app for iPhone or Android. It was like a scavenger hunt looking for the special displays in store at Walmart to unlock more comic book pages. My son squealed when he saw Spider-man dancing around on our DVD box.

To celebrate the release of The Amazing Spider-man Walmart has all kinds of branded products in store. We expected to find toys like the Spider-man mask set, web shooter, and action figure; but were so excited to find Amazing Spider-man food for our movie snacks. See my entire shop here. We went with Skippy Natural (on our shopping list), fruit snacks, and an action figure with sounds and web shooter!

All that was left to do was sit and enjoy the movie, with our Spiderman themed blanket, cup, snacks and pizza of course!
